*sigh*

This book gave me all the feels. From happy to sad, excited to nervous.

Willa has been through so much and has come so far in her life after the accident that took her husband, Cary, too soon. She's made a life for herself and her son, Alex.

Then there's Max. He left Cunningham Falls to make something for himself, which he did. From thinking that Willa would take him back after being gone for so long, to hear his best friend call up and say they were dating and then that he had proposed, must have been tough. It was the reality check he needed that he messed up one good thing he had in his life, Willa. After the accident, he stayed away. For 9 long years he avoided the woman he loved because of guilt and that's what she wanted at the time.

I could go on about the backstory of this book. This is an amazing example of second chance love. I laughed, swooned, cried and cheered. It hits you someplace that leaves you craving more.

The end of the book - I can't even. My emotions were all over the place. I was so incredibly happy and yet I was sobbing. The closure was everything that Max, Willa (and myself) needed. It was done in a beautiful way.

Well done Ms Proby. If I wasn't already a one-click reader, I would be now.

Waiting for Willa The Big Sky Series Book 3 edition by Kristen Proby Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

So there wasn't anything particularly wrong with this book. It was written well and Max and Willa were unbelievably sweet together. They were saccharine and charming and just very lovely.

I guess I just needed a bit more drama or something. It was almost too easy of a read. I know that shouldn't detract from how good the book is.

If you want a sweet read that has a darling couple with hardly any drama that is just good to its core then this is right up your alley.
I absolutely don't know where to begin! We saw Max and Willa tiptoe around each other in Kissing Jenna and I was instantly intrigued with their back story. I knew it would be good, I had no idea it would also be so heart-wrenching though.

Theirs was a complex relationship loaded with lots of history and heartache. But, sometimes you get a second chance because you weren't quite ready the first time, and no one deserves a second chance at happiness more than Willa and her sweet son, Alex. And Max was just the person to offer them that shot at happiness; not only wooing Willa, but also building a strong bond with Alex too.

Watching these three navigate to a new sense of normal was beautiful and endearing. Kristen Proby delivers another five star read; from the prologue to the epilogue, you'll be hanging on every word. ❤
This entire Big Sky Series is terrific, but Waiting For Willa is over-the-top fantastic! There’s just something about a second-chance romance, especially when it’s been several years and a lot of life has happened for the main characters. But gird your heart and grab the tissues, because this one has some heavy emotion.

Max and Willa were childhood sweethearts until Max decided Cunningham Falls was too small for his big dreams and left. Now that he's made his millions, he's back home and wants another chance with Willa. But Willa isn’t the same person she was ten years ago. She's gotten married, had a baby and made a home. Now she's a single mother to a nine-year-old boy and she owns a dress shop in town.

This is a quick easy read that really hits the heart. There were some incredibly touching moments which, based on the synopsis, I can’t tell you details of without spoiling things. Let's just say there is a slight paranormal element and some things between Max and Willa's son, Alex, with Max sharing memories of his best friend, that are truly beautiful. As we can always count on with Proby's books, this one has the humor and heat to go along with the heart, and it's definitely a 1-Clicker.

I really wish Cunningham Falls was a real place. And I really wish that the characters in Kristen Proby's Big Sky series were real people. They are most definitely people I would love to get to know and hang out with!

I have been anxiously awaiting the story behind Max Hull and Willa Monroe. We have had little teasers in previous books about how they had dated in high school, but had broken up. Max had moved away while Willa had a child and opened her own dress shop, but due to their past, Willa wanted nothing to do with Max. We find out in Waiting for Willa that Max and Willa broke up when he decided to move away from Cunningham Falls, wanting to spread his wings and see what it was like in a big city. Willa moved on and fell in love with Max's best friend, Cary, who unfortunately passed away, leaving Willa a widow with an unborn child. Since then, Max and Willa are hardly ever alone, and Max has respected Willa's wishes to stay away from her, despite still having feelings for her.

These two have some undeniable chemistry! I absolutely love Max and Willa together! I love how strong Willa is, not wanting to depend on others (a trait I often see in myself) when it comes to her shop or her son, Alex. I love that Max complements her, and allows her to remain so independent, while supporting her dreams and wishes. I think one of my favorite things about Kristen Proby's writing is that she writes such strong and independent women, and men that love them, support them, and push them to be everything that they can.

I absolutely loved these two characters, I absolutely love this series, and I absolutely recommend Waiting for Willa!!
